The Brushy Mtn Cyclists Club (BMCC) will be hosting the series finale for the 2010 Southern Classic Series on August 15th, 2010. The BURN 24 HOUR race route will be used for this event. Series rules and information can be found at www.southernclassicmtb.org.
This event is sanctioned by USA Cycling (USAC). An annual or one-day USAC-MTB
license will be
required and available for purchase the day of the event. Cat. 1 & Pro
classes require an annual license.Annual license can also be purchased in
advance at www.usacycling.org. One-day license are $5. All entrants are required
to sign the USA Cycling Standard Athletes Release Form. Minors must have a
parent or guardian with them when registering to sign the release form.
Special thanks to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) for working in partnership with the BMCC on trail development and land management. Since November 2002, the BMCC has led the charge to develop more than 30+ miles of multi-user trails at W Kerr Scott Dam & Reservoir. Registration will start at 7:30 am Sunday morning in the field at Dark Mountain.
Registration will close one (1) hour prior to each Wave’s start time.

Cat 1/Pro – 100% payback for top 3 finishers (1st - 50%, 2nd - 30%,

Award ceremonies will take place approximately 1 hour after the competition
of each Wave category. All proceeds from the race will be used for future
trail development and continued maintenance.
